OUR HISTORY

Canadian Retirement, was established in 2014 by co-founders, Andrew Macdonald and Mark Perry, and is built on a vision that has been in the making for many years.

For over 7 years, Andrew and Mark have worked together in the development of the adult lifestyle community Englewood, in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Englewood is now one of the largest gated adult retirement communities in Western Canada with up to 280 planned for retiree homes within the Englewood community.

In 2010, with the acquisition of the Englewood Courtyard lands Andrew and Mark pioneered the very first 5 storey wood frame condo building in British Columbia’s Upper Fraser Valley. Other exciting active adult developments are in the works and the partners look forward to bringing over 300 single family residential retirement homes to the market in the next 12 months.

Building on this initial success, in 2014, they established Canadian Retirement Developments Corp. (Canadian Retirement) as a distinct real estate development company to operate and manage their adult lifestyle development assets.
